Moments in the sun

A week ago, I changed my sweat home for hot France…

Yes, that’s how I could describe the moments I spent in the South-West of France with my childhood friend.

Jernej and Andrea showed me how agent 007 feels when he arrives, at last, after a long and tiring trip to the Domaine, which he could describe for hours over a glass of wine. A circular path that forces you to realize that energy is present all around and in a circle. Even at the slightest breeze, the mighty Linden tree whispers to you that it has lived here for many years and will not be up-rooted by even the wildest of storms.

And then you realize… You are surrounded by energy and time that has been watching over this earth and all the buildings for many years.

You are young again, and you find the strength to wake up every morning with that inspiration and laughter that you have been missing and looking for over the years.

And then… You are shoulder to shoulder with your friend again.. This time you have a duty…A duty to witness a moment that will connect him with another being in a way you don’t want to forget. He will become a husband.

The party was small in number and big in emotion. Just big enough to capture all the smiles and moments with my camera in peace. I also met some special guests who impressed me with their qualities and character. Barrie and JoJo stood out among them. Barrie with his writing inspiration and his partner JoJo. Barrie, Mr Fables, is a writer at heart and with his blog entries he truly inspires people around the world. JoJo, Mrs Feasts, certainly lives up to her name and is a creator of wonderful edible treats, not least the fantastically delicious wedding cakes. She made two. There was nothing left!

With all this beautiful happening, I had to leave this crazy environment with wonderful energy with Jernej’s sister and her son all too quickly and return home.

At home, the most beautiful possible gift is waiting for me… My love, and a new heartbeat under her heart.

Yes… the most important moments of my life are coming…
